Anniversary Pictorial of Organizations

Social Justice events are very visible at St. John's and these organizations - Knights of Columbus & Development & Peace - play a major role in supporting the Teachings of the Church in matters of Social Justice. The Advent and Lent Projects focus on Food for the Garson Community Foodbank, warm clothing for the Blue Door Cafe and in the past 3 years Mosquito Nets againts Malaria.

photo number 1 - Knights of Columbus representative in our Parish is Bob Retty.  We are very appreciative of the monetary donations we receive from the Knights to assist in the running of our Parish.  They also hold a Rose Sunday in May whereby money collected goes to Right to Life Campaign.

photo number 2 - Social Justice Committee who are involved with Development & Peace Campaigns and sponsor a Stone Soup Event every Solidarity Sunday during Lent.
