A New Year begins – People of God rejoice

Glory to God in the highest!

The love of God has brought us once more to this New Day – we have worshipped as a Faith Community – we have celebrated the Birth of our Saviour, Jesus Christ – we have greeted one another with warm wishes of happiness, peace and joy!

We extend our wishes of LOVE, PEACE, JOY and HAPPINESS

to each and everyone of you.

On this first day of 2009, the World Day of Peace, we share with you a prayer for Peace among all people ...

INTERFAITH PRAYER FOR PEACE

In the name of God most gracious and merciful.

You are one. We praise and worship you.

You are the creator of all people.

Teach us to put away

all bitterness and misunderstanding,

all hatred and prejudice

that we may grow as one family.

Unite the hearts of your people

and grant us strength to serve you.

Guide our steps so that all people

in our country and our world

may be united in love, justice and peace.

InterFaith Peace Initiative Group, Uganda

We welcome all new parishioners to our Parish Family!  May this year be a time of growth in our Faith Community as old acquaintances remain and new relationships are formed.  Faith holds us together, the bonds of community are strengthened, as we live out our call to be Children of God.

May we always look to the future with hope, peace, joy and love in our hearts.

We are now living the moment – journeying as God’s Family – looking to the future with hope in our hearts – we are convinced that faith will carry us through the predicted difficult days ahead.

We give thanks and praise to God for all our blessings!
