The Hall was adorned with festive teal blue and white christmas decorations, with Tea Tables set with white table cloths and christmas candle centrepieces at one end, and all craft, penny, raffle and bake tables at the other.

Approximately 400 people attended the Tea and were served a plate filled with sandwiches, pickles and dessert, as well as refreshments. While some enjoyed their lunch, others took time to purchase tickets for the penny table, mini-draws, gourmet baskets and for the handmade quilt. There was also an abundance of items available for sale on the craft and bake tables that sold out quickly.  The proceeds of the three gourmet baskets (Chocolate Lovers', Gardening and Spa Baskets) will be donated to the Garson Food Bank.

We extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to all who contributed in making the Tea an overwhelming success, including the C. W. L. members and parishoners who gave their time and talents in organizing and working at the Tea and a special thank you to the youths of the parish who helped serve at the Tea. We are also grateful for the many donations received, including the items for sale/raffle and baked goods.

St. John's C. W. L. ladies are grateful for the opportunity to host an event that brings friends and neighbours together to enjoy a luncheon, browse for bargains, take chances on draws & raffles and renew friendships.

We wish everyone a very Blessed Christmas and a New Year full of Love and Peace!
