Anyone scheduled to undergo surgery and wishing the Sacrament of the Sick may receive the Sacrament at any weekday Mass.

Father Mathieu visits the sick in hospitals on a regular basis and in their homes when called to do so. He admisters the Sacrament of the Sick to those who request it.

Father is always there for his people and many times is called to deal with strangers which he does very graciously.

Twice a year in May and October we celebrate a Special Mass for the Sick here at St. John's which proves to be a very meaningful event for those who are dealing with problems, be they physical. mental or phsycological. Gathering together with the Faith Community to pray for the sick of our parish and to receive the Sacrament of the Sick in communion touches hearts and souls and it comforts many. We usually have 70 to 90 people attending and the blessings are numerous!
